About Katy:

Born and raised in San Francisco and rural Oregon, Kavanaugh has gained a unique and liberating knowledge from the world coming into her at a young age and going out into it through international pursuits. At Stanford Graduate School of Education and the Hasso Plattner Institute for Design, she developed and tested a prototype to bring the world to learners with international cinema.
