Brenda will also speak to deep personal and collective transformation we are being called to, and the importance of inner awareness practices on our path to reaffirm our path and purpose.

About Brenda Salgado:

Brenda Salgado is an author, public speaker, facilitator, spiritual teacher, healer, and organizational consultant. She has over 20 years of experience in transformative leadership development, organizational management, strategy, and alliance and movement building. Her book, Real World Mindfulness for Beginners: Navigate Daily Life One Practice at a Time, was written for those new to mindfulness. In the past, Brenda has served as the Director of the East Bay Meditation Center, as Associate Director at Wisdom & Money, and as a Senior Fellow at Movement Strategy Center. She has taught and led ceremony at numerous gatherings and organizations, including Naropa University, California Institute of Integral Studies, Bioneers, Mindful Life Conference, The Future of Religion and Interspirituality, WisdomWomen, SF Department of Public Health, Genentech, The Ford Foundation and the Latino Community Foundation, among others. Brenda has also received training from indigenous elders in traditional medicine and healing ceremony in the Purepecha, Xochimilco, Toltec and other indigenous lineages. She draws on the healing powers of the natural world to guide and inform her work. More recently, she worked with Jubilee Partners and Wisdom & Money in holding spiritual retreats for people of wealth, and has brought ceremony and teachings of indigenous prophecy, mindfulness, reciprocity, and sacred economy into these spaces. Her current projects are focused on transformational leadership, sacred economics, ceremony for collective healing and transformation, and the weaving of mindfulness and indigenous teachings for our times. She is committed to co-creating a society filled with wholeness and beauty.
